Josh Goessler - President

Josh Goessler is an Information Security, Privacy and Risk Management professional with a highly technical background and a highly analytical mind. His current role as a Cyber Security Analyst at Portland Community College is responsible for Incident & Risk management, maintaining compliance with multiple regulations or directives (FedRAMP, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, GDPR), and implementing key security technologies to improve the overall security posture of the college. He has a passion for helping the average person and new technology professionals understand the why, what, when and how of IT.

During his time at Portland Community College, Josh Goessler has been a long standing advocate for students. A Gateway to College graduate, Josh works alongside the Portland Youth Builders organization to give tours of PCC’s IT department and provide general guidance to at-risk students. He served as the technology liaison for the Accessible Technology Equipment and Training Team; a committee which promotes and ensures equitable and accessible technology in PCC classrooms.

 

Steven Burton - Board

Steven is an Oregon native, living here for his entire life. He has mostly lived in Portland however has also had the experience of living in many of the local surrounding areas. He started his medical career working at a residential company for people with developmental and intellectual disabilities. It is here that he had his first experience with this community and quickly knew that he wanted to be an advocate for these people. Working with adolescence and seniors he has seen a very wide array of people and has always maintained a healthy and professional relationship with everyone he supports. He is currently working on becoming an ER Nurse!

In his off-time Steven enjoys playing with his dog, Cooper, watching a good scary movie, learning about fitness and nutrition, and spending quality time with loved ones. We’re very lucky to have him on the Board and look forward to growing a relationship with him and the people we support.






 

Danielle Schomber - Secretary/Treasurer

Danielle was born in Milwaukie, Oregon and has spent her days there until moving to Canby earlier this year. Graduating from Milwaukie high school in 2010 and going to school for medical assisting a couple years after. Currently she works at Doernbecher Children’s Hospital in Orthopedics and really enjoys it. It has always been her dream to work with kids. Danielle enjoys going to the gym, the beach, playing pool and spending time with her friends, family and her boyfriend Michael. She has always wanted to give back to the community in a way that would help the youth and disabled.





 

Amanda Kelley - Board

Amanda was born in Milwaukie, Oregon and grew up in Estacada. After graduating from Estacada High School, she attended Clackamas Community College and earned her Medical Assistant Certification and an Associates Degree in General Studies. She maintained a GPA of 4.0, which landed her a spot on the Honor Roll. While earning her degree and certificate, Amanda worked at a residential home for people who have developmental disabilities. During this time she realized her passion for supporting individuals to live their highest quality of life and give back to her community. She continues to make a positive impact as a Medical Assistant at Doernbechers Childrens Hospital.

In her free time Amanda enjoys going to the gym, hiking, camping, spending quality time with friends and family and occasionally indulging in a crumbl cookie. 

 

Myhoa Nguyen - BSN, RN - Board

MyHoa is a registered nurse who works in the Intensive Care Unit. She has been an RN for 3 years and graduated from University of Portland. She worked as a tutor for adults with disabilities at a community college in Washington. She also has experience working in home as a caregiver to children with disability. She is excited to join Kefi Care as an advocate and support for the community.

Chris Goessler - BSN, RN, CEN - Board

Chris is a registered nurse and currently works at the Portland VA Emergency Department as a Nurse Educator and a Staff Nurse. Chris has been a Registered Nurse for 3 years and received his degree from Oregon Health and Science University. Chris has worked with both the Oregon Nursing Board and the Oregon Nursing Research and Quality Improvement Consortium on improving nurse retention and nurse onboarding processes. His passions in nursing include: programmatic and systematic improvement, research, and community access to care modification.

Prior to nursing, Chris worked at Alternative Services, INC. for five years both as a Direct Support Professional and Home Manager. Chris gained a passion for supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. He worked in both vocational and home-care settings and was passionate about encouraging and advocating for his customer's access to community outings.

 

Carly Pacheaco - Board

Carly was born in Bellingham, Washington and earned her bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Women’s Studies from Western Washington University. After graduation, she moved to Portland, Oregon where she worked as a Legal Assistant in Corporate Immigration at Tonkon Torp, LLP. Carly is now an Executive Assistant in Technology Transactions at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati in Seattle, Washington. Outside of work, she loves to volunteer and give back to the community. Carly is a mentor at Big Brothers Big Sisters Puget Sound, a Crisis Counselor at Crisis Text Line, and has volunteered at several domestic violence prevention agencies. She plans to pursue a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and open a private practice in the future.

 

David - Board

David Nuttelman is a seasoned professional in the realm of finance, boasting a Masters Degree in Finance and an MBA. With a background in corporate finance, David brings a wealth of knowledge and strategic acumen to the table. Beyond his corporate endeavors, David is deeply committed to making a difference in his community through volunteering and supporting non-profit organizations. As a member of the board of directors, David's expertise and passion for social impact are poised to drive positive change and shape the future direction of the organization.
